Valentine's Day Cinnamon Rolls

Our family tradition for Valentine's Day has been for the boys to wake up to a house full of red balloons, glittery heart-shaped plates on the table, a small present on the plate, a warm sweet treat out of the oven, and the van packed with bikes ready for a day on the trails.

Last year I made a puffy apple oven cake. This year, we made cinnamon rolls. I didn't get a picture of them with the cream cheese frosting on top, but you can imagine.

Rising the night before. The best thing about this recipe is that you make it the night before and just pop in the oven in the morning!

Right out of the oven.

Turned over onto a big pan. 8 rolls of messy goodness. Yum!

Is this the recipe you gave me? Yours look more gooey then mine:-(

What a fun day it sounds like you all had!

Yes, it's the same recipe. I doubled the filling, but otherwise left everything the same.
