Valentine's Day 2011

On Valentine's Day we drove to Austin for our annual bike ride and picnic. It was a glorious day with temperatures around 75 degrees, few clouds, and a warm breeze. We rode around Lady Bird Johnson lake...I think there are over 12 miles in trails alone. We get to cross little and big bridges along the way, which is always a delight to our little boys.

Riley rides his own bike. We do our best to keep up with him.

Below are some pictures from the day.

Hannah! You've got to go sometime. Lock your harp in your car and go next time you have a lesson. Austin bike riding is so much fun!

1. You look so good
2. YES!! IT'S THE LULULEMON HOODIE!!
3. AND THE ALL-WEATHER BLANKET!
4. When did you get that adorable lime green ergo?!? I'm still sporting the faded blue, but have been coveting one of the newer shades... maybe baby cakes #4...

Okay, so that comment might have sounded a little shallow. More importantly than the color of your Ergo, you guys look like your are continuing to make beautiful Texas memories. I love how you are making family bike rides look possible, and pleasant, with now two little tag-along non-riders! What a fun family! A babe growing up in your home has it good. All my love to you Tracy.

Marybeth! Not shallow at all. Your comments always have us all smiling from ear to ear =) I'm giddy that you recognized that Lululemon jacket...remember shopping for that? And yes! The blanket! We never leave home without it...it has been so faithful to us. And that Ergo? It's not ours. We borrowed it for the day from our friend Kate. But we do have the same one in gray and navy. It's the performance line, new from Ergo. I sold our faded cranberry Ergo for $75 (!!!) on Craigslist and bought this new one in November. I love it...it FAR SURPASSES the Ergos of old in every way. We opted for the gray and blue over the bright lime because Tom wears it far more than me and wanted the more masculine color. =)))
