A New Brood...

...of chickens joined our venture. We picked up 10 more laying hens to help with the demand of eggs we have. We sell out everyday and end up turning people down. We could use about 80 layers, I'd guess.

Riley is proud of his new girls. There was a wee bit of picking and fighting between the established hens and these new sisters. By tomorrow, everything should be just fine though.

Every time I see a pic of your coop I think again how much I love it!! It's so CUTE!!! If you get 80 layers, though, you're gonna need a bigger coop! lol Where do you sell your eggs?

Thanks Wendy! I know, I told Thomas we'll need another coop. We sell our eggs to many of our hay customers and Picosa Ranch hunting Lodge across the street. We have standing orders all of the time. Seriously, if we had 100 chickens, I think we could sell the eggs. You don't know of anyone with laying hens for sale, do you?
