Almost Done

Here's a couple more pictures of the "Chez Poulet"

The roof is on and Tom is installing the nesting boxes.

Here are the nesting boxes made by Chris and Tom.

Looking inside the front door towards the back.

Nesting boxes are in and now the side wall needs a hinged door so Riley can collect the eggs.

A couple more finishing touches and the chicks can move in. What a relief after they've been "cooped" up in their tiny brooder box. More pictures will be posted when it is finished.

Now that is one posh chicken coop! We city folk can only stand in awe and amazement at it's grandeur! I love the filigree windows - they're so pretty. Can't wait to see the finished product as well as the eggs produced in it!

What beautiful windows in front! Where did you get those?

I love that you have fancy windows in your chicken coop. :) My chickens should be so lucky to live in such a beautiful house! Alas, their coop is simply a corner of the old hay barn finished up with "repurposed" fence panels. :) They do get to roam every day, though, as we don't have bird dogs. ;)
