Down By The Bay...

...where the watermelons grow...back to my home...I dare not go...for if I do...my mother will say...
"Have You Ever Seen a...Yacht...handmade in the backyard of a home in Eureka, California...I think not!..." Down by the bay....
We were fortunate to have a special sailing date on the Dick Family's handmade-handrefurbished folk boat during our visit to Humboldt County.
The sun did not come out this particular Saturday morning...but there was a breeze and sun or no sun, it was a special privilege to have a personal and private tour of the Humboldt Bay by good friends.

Riley was especially excited as had never been in a sailboat before.
Riley + Rowan = good times!

Abram took his nap in the hull of the boat during the sail.

Captain Adam let Riley take the helm and steer the rutter this way and that way.
One folk boat, four small littles, and four big people. Thank You Ad and Dee for the fun!

I was wondering what ever happened with Adam and Deanna's boat. It's good to see that they are putting it to good use. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Thanks for the pictures.

At least Daniel didn't fall out of the tree. We wouldn't want two cripples lying around the Gent Farm, Ha!
