Big Tom brought home a copy of Texas Monthly from the Doctor's office which featured Texas' 25 best swimming holes. It's my personal mission to see them all while we are here.
This one is in Wimberly...another cute, quaint, artsy town in the hill country between San Antonio and Austin. Marybeth kept saying it smelled like Bayou country....and we half expected alligators to be in this river. It was mossy, lush, big tree roots lined the bottom, and fish here and there.

Here's lookin' at you, kid!

Looks like fun! I'd love to go to all the state parks in MN, that's my mission! :)
It is Bayouesqe but not quite enough moss or water moccasins! Can't wait to see the others.
I hope on our visit we get to do some of the great things you got to do with your good firends, looks like you all had a great time, I love the swimming hole idea! Also great firework picture, you will have to show me how you shot that photo, very cool!
Tracy great job on your blog. The children are so cute. Thank you for sharing. Abram is getting so big. Love, Grandma Donna
