Here is the progress report of our garden. This is the view from our front porch. Tom is in the tractor, baling hay. It's cuttin' time!...the first of the year.
Our herbs. The photo doesn't really do it justice. I've never seen herbs get this big.
Oh, they love that Texan heat!
We've got about 100 cherry tomatoes about to ripen all at once.
The beginnings of an eggplant
Green and red sweet peppers
Trellising spinach (never seen one of these in CA before!)
Okra
Green beans
The flowers on the okra plant-- aren't they beautiful?
Beets, carrots, green beans
That yellow flower is a tomatillo plant-- it makes the best salsa verde!!!
Anaheim chilis
Serrano peppers
Summer squash
Sweet corn
